FAQs/INFO
What is Faith?
Faith is trusting God’s promises even when we can’t see the outcome. Faith goes deeper than belief; it’s active trust and commitment to God.
Why is faith important?
"Without faith, it’s impossible to please God" (Hebrews 11:6) or grow closer to Him. "Draw near to The Lord and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8)
How can I grow my faith?
Spend time in God’s Word, pray regularly, and surround yourself with believers who encourage you. Reading the Word of God will make you aware of His character, and His attributes. Again, the Bible says: "Draw near to The Lord and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8)
Prayer is as simple as talking to a friend. Jesus wants not only to be our Lord and Savior, but our friend. He wants us to talk with Him, the Father, and Holy Spirit. Always allow God time to respond to you, and try not to do all the talking. Share your heart with God and see Him help you with your life!
Jesus didn't come to establish a denomination. He came to establish His Church- and his Church is not a building, nor a franchise. THE CHURCH is the Body of Christ- believers in Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to where He wants you to be. Make sure the Church you explore believes in the entire Word of God and does not modify or edit it to suit their own agenda. Also- Jesus is still just as Powerful as when He walked the shores of Galilee. He is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY, and FOREVER! (Hebrews 13:8)
Salvation - do I need to be saved?
Yes, we ALL need Salvation. For it is written: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) Sin is missing the mark, and not meeting the standard of a Holy and Righteous God.
(Acts 16:31) "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved..."
(Acts 2:38): Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." It's also important to accept that we CANNOT earn our Salvation by works or anything else we may do.
Ephesians 2:8-9 states "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Salvation comes through faith in what the Holy Scriptures say, and what Jesus said about Himself. This is not just believing that Jesus existed, but trusting in Him for your salvation.
Saved from eternal separation from our Creator, a God Who loves each of us very much!

While the world teaches this concept, it is not Biblical, factual; and a grave error that some believe. Jesus said: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No-one comes to the Father but through me." (John 14:6)
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Saved from what? I'm fine....I think.
What is prayer, and how do I do it? How can I pray?
Ok- well, there are many ways to God aren't there?
Which Church Denomination is the Right one?
How do I get saved? Be saved?
Repent? What is that?
Repentance is first acknowledging that we all have sins we need forgiveness of; but even more than that, that we change our ways and commit to leave a lifestyle of sin and seek to live according to God's will and ways. God gives us a beautiful invitation in (Isaiah 1:18 NASB)- “Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool."
Ready to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior? A PRAYER TEMPLATE that you can personalize if we may be of help:
"Lord Jesus, I come to you taking full responsibility for my sins, and I know I can't wash them away. But I believe You can, and You WILL. I repent of my sins- things I've done and things I haven't done but should have. Forgive me, Lord Jesus, wash me, and make me white as snow. Accept me into your Kingdom, Lord; and I will follow you. Live within me by Your Spirit, and lead me in the path & life You have always had for me. Help me forgive those who have wronged or hurt me. Set me free, Dear Lord Jesus. THANK YOU, AMEN!"

You said Jesus wants to be my friend, too? Really?
Absolutely! Not only did God call Abraham His friend (Isaiah 41:8), but Jesus at a point in His ministry said in John 15:14 "You are my friend if you do what I command you"; and similarly in John 15:15. While we cannot lose sight of Jesus being the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, He also is our friend and He's grafted us into His ROYAL FAMILY!
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." (John 3:16-18 NASB)
